Description: This two-hour workshop is for therapists, teachers, and paraprofessionals new to working with individuals using Coughdrop, or would like to find out more about it. Coughdrop is an open-source AAC communication app that is highly flexible, uses free symbols and community gathered boards. It is available on multiple platforms, is family-friendly, and includes many features to facilitate speech provider, family, and staff collaboration. One of the developers from Coughdrop, Scot Wahlquist- also a parent of an AAC user- will describe how to best this use this app. ***PLEASE NOTE PD IS: 10 AM-12PM TO ACCOMMODATE TIME ZONE DIFFERENCE***
