Early Childhood 2018/2019
Description: Come with us on a journey to the island of imagination! Bringing books alive expands students' abilities to respond to literature. By integrating the arts in the elementary classroom, students will not only experience the joy of reading, but also drama, song, dance, and design to make reading and comprehension fun! This workshop will focus on the integration of the Arts to enhance the learner experience, giving students access to vocabulary, content, and reading for pleasure. Bring your dancing shoes and a smock to experience hands-on minds-on learning! Students will have an opportunity to showcase their stories coming alive at a later date with their peers.
