D75-18-203: New ELL Teacher PD Series: Nuts and Bolts for New ELL Teachers
English Language Learners 2018/2019

Description: This session will provide ENL and Bilingual Teachers in their first year of teaching in District 75 with the planning tools necessary in order to experience successful outcomes for students. We will discuss how to create an effective ENL teacher schedule with appropriate group compositions, the ELL Identification Process, SESIS basics, instructional implications of CR Part 154, as well as share various resources available to teachers that support instructional planning and their own professional learning. This CTLE approved session may be used toward the 50% Commissioners Regulations (CR) Part 154 Professional Development requirement for ELL teachers.
