Description: Nearpod is a web-based platform that enables teachers to present a multimedia slide deck to students, and have students interact it with it in a variety of ways, including drawing, matching, and more. Lessons can be created either from scratch, from incorporating existing lessons, or from the Nearpod lesson library. District 75 has paid for teacher subscriptions. Nearpod can be used for instruction, student practice and assessment; for in-person classes, as well as remote instruction (synchronous and asynchronous). Participants MUST bring their own laptop.
