D75-21-164: Positive Behavior Supports in Inclusive Environments - Part 1 and Part 2
Inclusive Education 2021/2022

Description: This asynchronous professional development is open to anyone who supports students who receive inclusive special education services in a District 1-32 School, specifically those supported by District 75. Participants will learn key concepts guiding positive behavior approaches, strategies and supports for students including Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and some basics of Social Emotional Learning, go through a case student review, and develop a support plan based on an identified student opportunity. This course is relevant during and after the time period of blended and remote learning; educators may need to generalize information to make specific connections to this time period. It should take approximately 2 hours to complete each section. Note: No CTLE provided for this session
