Speech 2019/2020
Description: This 1-day workshop is for teams of speech therapists, classroom teachers and paraprofessionals who are working with the same students. Occupational and Physical therapists are also invited. The workshop will focus on engaging students using communication devices/systems during classroom lessons. Teams will be shown how to differentiate instruction based on students' language levels. Specific implementation strategies, such as use of routines, prepared communication opportunities and peer-to-peer communication, will be presented. This workshop offers ASHA CEU's.
