Description: Today's students use technology in ways unimagined even five years ago. This one day training will expose participants to the technology our students are using and how to use technology in our counseling practice to engage students and meet their IEP counseling goals. While this training is broad in scope, participants will be provided resources and tools that can be used in their schools. Skills discussed in this training are 1b Demonstrating Knowledge of Students, 2b Establishing a Culture for Learning, 3a Communicating with Students, 3c Engaging Students in Learning, 3e Demonstrating Flexibility and Responsiveness, 4d Participating in the Professional Community, 4e Growing and Developing Professionally.
