Instructional Technology (STEM) 2017/2018

Description: If you and/or your students have already ventured into coding and computer science, you may be wondering whats next. What do we do after the Hour of Code is over? What do I use with my students who find block-based coding too basic? We will answer these questions and present you with a number of tools to expand coding and computer science in your classroom. You dont need to know Python, CSS, C+ (or even know what they mean) to be part of this workshop. You just need to have a willingness to learn new techniques to expand and advance computer science instruction in your classroom. Time for planning and addressing questions about coding instruction and current technological challenges will be provided. A certificate will be issued upon completion of the course. This addresses ISTE Educator Standards 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7. CTLE Approved.
