Mathematics (STEM) 2021/2022
Description: This is part 2 of a three part PD. Although all parts together form a whole, it is possible to participate in each part independently. In this part we learn about and share best practices in visualizing math problems, also known as bar modeling or Singapore math. We will learn how to visualize word problems to firstly being able to decode the written part, and then translate them into a visual language before getting to the conceptual and procedural part of problem solving.
