Description: This one-day workshop is for educators who work with Standardized Students in Grades 6-12. Participants will engage in hands-on activities that will increase their understanding of expressions, equations, and functions by solving real-world problems relating to percent, tax, slope, and proportional relationships etc. Participants will be provided with different strategies and resources to support student understanding and visualization. All of the activities will be aligned to the NYS Next Generation Learning Standards.
