Alternate Assessment 2016/2017
Description: Students K-12, who participate in Alternate Assessment classes are expected to be instructed to CCLS. This PD will focus on understanding the Essential Elements for all grades. We will explore the relationship of the Essential Elements to CCLS, the structure of NYSAA and how to best prepare students for testing, the resources available via the Dynamic Learning Maps website, as well as, curriculum development in relation to the Essential Elements. Attendance at This PD will benefit administrators, school based coaches, curriculum develop team members, and classroom teachers.Participants are expected to bring a laptop.
