Description: This professional learning seminar is designed for Grade K to 8 teachers and paraprofessionals in standardized or alternate assessment programs who would like to have a greater understanding of teaching geometry. Participants will engage in investigating the progression of Mathematics skills needed by our students to learn from K to Grade 8 under the Geometry Domain. Teachers and paraprofessionals will participate in hands-on activities that will promote student engagement and deepen their thinking and reasoning.
