Description: "In this professional learning session, The Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs will provide an overview of various resources that are available to NYC residents. Information provided will include but is not limited to: 1. General city services and resources under COVID
2. Food assistance
3. Burial assistance
4. Healthcare options for low income families
5. COVID-19 testing
6. Housing and tenants' rights
7. No cost immigration legal services
8. Worker protections
Staff are also encouraged to bring any questions and/or concerns that they have encountered with families related to any of the aforementioned topics. Audience: K-12 Teachers, Guidance Counselors, Transition Team Leaders, Administrators, Paraprofessionals and Parent Coordinators."
