Description: D75 Arts is Partnering with Photoville to offer an exciting PD opportunity for Teachers. We will be hosting an interactive and intentional workshop for educators, led by Stephanie Alvarado, which will provide an introduction to the language and movement history of the disability community, and feature collaborative sessions giving participants an opportunity to explore relevant themes and connect with other educators. This PD will also include a photography zine workshop with artist/activist Jen White Johnson, and a community resource panel with featured guests Amanda McFee, Director of Arts Programs for the Office of Arts Education District 75 Citywide Programs, NYC Department of Education, Rick Guidotti, Founder/CEO of Positive Exposure, plus more guests to be announced.  Ideal for: New York City middle + high school educators working within the disability community and educators who are interested in learning more about education practices within the disability community.
