Description: This 2-day workshop is designed for SLPs, OTs and PTs, to identify, treat and/or manage sensory, behavioral, oral motor, as well as, gross and fine motor feeding and swallowing difficulties in students within the school setting. This course will also address best practices such as, using a team approach, employing a parent coaching model, interpreting findings, setting goals and exploring specific intervention strategies that providers can administer during their therapy sessions. Participants will be REQUIRED to complete a hands-on assessment of a student on their caseload or in their program to be discussed on day 2.
