Description: When children have opportunities to explore, question, and build knowledge of the world around them through project-based learning and social studies, they discover their voice, self-expression and a lifelong curiosity for learning. As our students learn to build relationships in their homes, communities, and schools, they discover what it means to belong. Join us as we address how to cultivate meaningful relationships with students in a culturally responsive, welcoming environment. We’ll explore different resources that create opportunities for students to apply leaning into practice, in alignment with CR-SE, (Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education, focusing on real-world situations, embedding Advanced Literacies with an emphasis on the Hallmarks of Instruction.
