Description: This one-day workshop is designed for educators of Kindergarten to Grade 8 students who are Standardized or Alternatively Assessed that would like to have a greater understanding of teaching geometry. Participants will engage in investigating the progression of geometric skills, hands-on activities, visual modeling, and understanding what students need to learn from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Educators will learn strategies for reaching diverse learners and resources to support them in planning instruction.
