Description: Pre-requisite: Proof of Certification in TCIS core. Therapeutic Crisis Intervention - Developmental Disabilities (TCI-DD) is a 2-day training. These 2 days focus on identifying and reducing conditions and events that may trigger challenging behaviors in students with Developmental Disabilities. It will provide strategies that will minimize challenging behaviors, focusing on crisis communication skills and on modifying the Life Space Interview. PLEASE NOTE: Participants are required to submit a copy of their TCIS certicate of completion via email to ndavidson2@schools.nyc.gov in order to complete registration.
