D75-22-179: Supporting Communication Across All Environments
Speech 2022/2023
Description: It is encouraged that educational teams join this two-hour workshop which will focus on engaging students using communication devices/systems during classroom lessons and other school environments. Teams will be introduced to various AAC systems that your students may be using. Teams will shown how to differentiate instruction based on students' language levels. Specific implementation strategies, such as use of routines, prepared communication opportunities and peer-to-peer communication, and family support strategies will be presented. (Please note: PD is virtual. The link to join will be emailed approximately 24 hours prior to PD date at which time registration will be closed.)
