D75-18-393: Empower Students with Movie Making - iMovie for the Computer
Instructional Technology (STEM) 2018/2019

Description: Action: STEM Fair, Graduation, Student Film Festival! This 2-day hands-on iMovie institute is for alternate and standardized teachers. Participants will learn how to import their raw video footage (for example, student work, class projects, assemblies, field trip, the STEM Fair) into iMovie, add titles, music, and effects, and end up with a movie in various formats including computer, iPad, web format, and podcast. Course Requirements: 2-Day workshop: participants must attend all days and bring an Apple laptop with iMovie installed. Also, participants should have video footage, either in camera or computer (if in camera, bring all necessary cables to class). A certificate will be issued upon completion of the course.
(There will be laptops to use if you cannot bring one, but you will need a way to save your movies, like an external hard drive, One Drive, Gdrive.)
