Description: DESIGNED FOR ARTS AND TECH TEACHERS:

Participants will learn why teaching for creativity is important and possible across all subjects and at all ages and how to design learning experiences that foster creativity. They will learn how to learn and teach creative tools that they can use with their students and embed into their curriculum. Participants will discover how to curate resources designed by master teachers, how to assess creative works and plan for a creative learning environment. Throughout this experience, participants will learn the skills to create graphics, videos and websites to document the artifacts and experiences of the institute. They will curate resources specific to their age group and subject that they can use immediately. Participants will leave with resources and craft an action plan to support their own learning goals and empower their learning community. Participants will be trained in Adobe Express - Creative tool available on any device. Able to create graphic design, webpages, portfolios, videos and more; Helpx (introduction to Creative Cloud)- Tutorials and help to learn tools; and Adobe Education Exchange - Resources, curriculum and online training for educators. YOU NEED TO BRING A CHROMEBOOK OR LAPTOP.
