Description: Classroom management skills are critical for all students to succeed. Teachers, Counselors and parents all benefit by understanding the effectiveness of positive classroom management skills. Participants will be given training in the following: Classroom setup, Classroom Procedures, and the teacher as a manager of the classroom. Comprehending classroom management is essential for counselors to help teachers as part of their consultation services and in creating BIP's and Classroom Management Plans that may actually be used. Participants will also design class rules and classroom setups that meet the needs of their students.
