Description: This two-hour PD is for therapists, teachers and paraprofessionals who have a student using an "Accent" AAC device or LAMP Words for Life app and need introductory information. The workshop will focus on how Unity, the device software, is designed to enable the user to generate sentences. Information on customizing the device will be included. The presenter will be from the Prentke-Romich Company. Participants are requested to have the appropriate student device with them, if possible, as well as your questions and concerns about implementation in the classroom . (Please note: PD is virtual. The link to join will be emailed approximately 24 hours prior to PD date.)
