Description: In this workshop, participants will plan engaging STEM investigations using NYC Science Scope and Sequence in Grades 6-8. Participants will examine the structure and components of the standards by grade level and explore the progression of the Disciplinary Core Idea across grade levels. We will apply the three dimensions of science learning to hands-on activities. Discussions will address the alignment of the NYC Scope and Sequence timeline to your science program. Science resources will be shared for planning instruction and engaging every student.
