Description: Pre-requisite: Attendance to all 4 days of TCIS core. Therapeutic Crisis Intervention – Developmental Disabilities (TCI-DD) is a 2-day In-person training. These 2 days focus on identifying and reducing conditions and events that may trigger challenging behaviors in students with Developmental Disabilities. It will provide strategies that will minimize challenging behaviors, focusing on crisis communication skills and on modifying the Life Space Interview. PLEASE NOTE: There is no comprehensive test as this course builds on the content learned for TCIS core.
