D75-20-4106: Inclusive Education Fundamentals During Blended and Remote Learning - Part 1 and Part 2
Inclusive Education 2020/2021

Description: This asynchronous professional learning opportunity is open to anyone who supports students who receive inclusive special education services in a District 1-32 School, specifically those supported by District 75. The course is ideal for both newcomers to District 75 inclusive programming, or seasoned District 75 SETSS or ICT educators who need a refresher or a review. The content covers the fundamental information necessary for educators to support students in District 75 inclusive programs during this time of blended and remote learning. Part 1 covers the philosophy behind inclusive education, in addition to going through the systems and structures in place to support District 75 inclusive programs. Part 2 focuses on instruction, including ways to provide instructional access for students in inclusive settings, along with guiding thoughts on assessing students during blended and remote learning. Each part should take approximately 90 minutes to complete.
