Description: This professional learning experience offers District 75 special education teachers, paraprofessionals and related service providers an opportunity to explore effective methodologies and strategies for supporting multilingual learners with diverse needs. Designed specifically for educators without a background in teaching English to speakers of other languages, the workshop will provide practical insights into the language acquisition process for students with IEPs. Participants will examine how to foster language development within monolingual classroom settings and leave with tools to better support their students’ academic and linguistic growth.
