Description: In this 2 day workshop participants will be given an overview of prevention systems to support suicide and crisis, as well as procedures for assessing risk and providing intervention. An overview of risk and protective factors will be examined and applied to hypothetical cases. Approaches from various levels in the school organization will be examined so participants are prepared from a systems, group, and individual perspective. This workshop is only for counseling related service providers.
