Mathematics (STEM), Speech 2019/2020
Description: Pre-Requisite: Participants must have attended “Speech & Communication in the Math Classroom.” This one-day workshop is for speech therapists and classroom teachers who teach 12:1:1 or 8:1:1 students. Participants will build on their understanding of speech, communication, and questioning in the math classroom through hands-on activities, game-based learning, and learn how speech & math skills can be developed in tandem. Participants will spend the afternoon building communication boards and developing math activities to bring back into the classroom.
