Autism, Instructional Technology (STEM) 2019/2020
Description: From cave paintings to hieroglyphics, symbols have been able to express people's stories. Boardmaker has become the go-to standard for all District 75 PECS implementation, but it can be complicated, require subscriptions, and not usable across many devices. But what do you do if that's all you know? There are alternatives. And not only that, but methods that may better serve the purposes of symbology for clear communication, generalization, and fostering independence. So whether your goal is simplifying your PECS life or integrating more student interaction, we will help you get there. A certificate will be issued upon completion of the course. CTLE credit is available.
