D75-19-337: Math Liaisons Workshops
Mathematics (STEM) 2019/2020
Description: The District 75 Math Liaisons will be a collaborative learning environment for a group of teachers throughout the 2019-2020 school year. This group will meet 4 times throughout the year to enhance professional learning in math education and address math challenges across District 75. Each meeting will have a specific focus geared towards math instruction for students taking both the Standardized and Alternate assessments. Focus points will include: adapting core curriculums and assessments, math collaborations across different disciplines, and number sense and routines. Creative and exciting approaches to math will be embedded into every session. At the end of the year, members will present best practices to the group and discuss what was successful at their school.
