Description: Learn how to launch a student-run farmstand using the GrowNYC model to support food access in New York City and empower school communities to take a meaningful look at our food system. In this workshop, you’ll hear from District 75 teachers who have built successful farmstand programs, tour a thriving school garden, and see the adapted GrowNYC Farmstand Business Curriculum in action from seed to sales. Discover how to improve food access in your community through hands-on student leadership. *Please note the curriculum is geared for high schools but can be adapted for different ages and learning levels.
