Description: Students have a place to sign on the IEP attendance page. But do our students actually know what they are signing? This 2 day workshop will discuss ways to help our students understand the IEP process. Participants will be given ways to explain it to them using visual and verbal techniques and put in place a procedure for including the student in the IEP meeting and demonstrate self-advocacy and self-determination. Day 2 of workshop has been changed to 5/12/20 at 169m.
