Description: Get ready to enliven your early childhood classroom environment through this hands-on, virtual course! Discover different ways to foster student independence when designing instruction to meet the individual needs of your students. Learn how to plan intentional, experiential, developmentally and culturally responsive practices when designing learning centers and work stations. We’ll explore the cultural richness and strengths each student brings to the classroom. We’ll examine the adult role in designing a safe and stimulating environment that fosters a thriving classroom that best meets the development of very young children. Teachers will learn practical strategies that builds a continuum of specialized supports that move students toward increased independence, aligned to the Instructional Principles.
