D75-16-2503: The Essential Elements- aren't just for "The NYSAA"
Alternate Assessment 2016/2017
Description: Students K-12, who participate in Alternate Assessment classes are expected to be instructed to the CCLS. This PD will focus on understanding the Essential Elements for all grades. We will explore the relationship of the Essential Elements to CCLS. The structure of NYSAA- and how to best prepare students for testing. The resources available via the Dynamic Learning Maps website, and curriculum development in relation to the Essential Elements. This PD can be attended by a maximum of two people per school consisting of any combination of the following titles; administrator, school based coach, and an identified teacher leader.
