Description: Pre-requisite: Successful completion of all 4 days of TCIS Core. Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Schools – Complex Needs and Neurodiversity (TCIS-CNN) is a 2-day in-person professional learning experience. This 2-day training focuses on creating safe, developmentally appropriate, non-aversive, and trauma-informed environments that support students with complex needs. This program is supplemental training to TCIS core for those who support students who have complex needs including neurodivergence, intellectual disabilities, and challenging behavior. Day 1 is Planning for Success and Day 2 is Communication. NOTE: There is no comprehensive test as this course builds on the content learned from the TCIS core.
