Counseling 2019/2020
Description: This 2 day workshop addresses procedures for initiating counseling services, measures to assist with counseling service planning and development of IEP goals, evidence-based strategies, and progress monitoring of IEP counseling goals. Participants will be responsible for utilizing procedures and strategies and sharing outcomes with other participants. Recommended participants for this training include social workers, guidance counselors, and school psychologists who provide mandated counseling services to students. New hires will be given priority during registration. Participants are expected to bring redacted goals and PLOP for two students on their caseload.
