English Language Learners 2025/2026
Description: This two-day institute is designed for new ENL teachers in District 75. Over the course of the institute, participants will gain essential knowledge and tools to confidently navigate the unique logistics of the ENL teacher's role. Through interactive sessions and collaborative learning, teachers will explore best practices for co-teaching, learn how to adapt ENL strategies to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities, and develop effective instructional plans that support English language acquisition for students with IEPs. This is a valuable opportunity to build a strong foundation and join a supportive community of educators committed to multilingual learners in special education settings.
