Description: In this 1 day workshop participants will develop SMART goals and objectives for students with Intellectual Disabilities. In addition, goal-directed counseling interventions will be reviewed and practiced. This workshop is only for counseling related service providers. Skills discussed in this training are aligned with 1b-Demonstrating Knowledge of Students; 2a- Creating an Environment of Respect and Rapport; 2c-Managing Classroom Procedures; 2d-Managing Student Behavior; 2e-Organizing Physical Space; 4f-Showing Professionalism
