Alternate Assessment 2019/2020
Description: The purpose of the new SANDI-FAST Instructional Kits in ELA and math is to provide multiple instructional activities aligned with the SANDI Assessment and State Standards. The teacher guides, along with instructional materials in each kit, support student engagement in large and small group instruction. This professional development is for principal designated SANDI Instructional Kit Team members. Participants will learn how to use the SANDI Reading and Math Subtest Items, Standards Reports, and PIL charts, and prepare students to show academic growth on formative and summative assessment through explicit direct instruction of instructional skills. Educators should register in their SANDI Instructional KIT teams. A maximum of three team members from each school may register. Please bring a laptop or iPad.
