Description: This workshop is for Sustainability Coordinators and teachers who are engaged in building sustainability practices with their students. We will address the four main areas of sustainability, including Energy, Water, Waste, and Food. Participants will gain resources and work directly with colleagues from the DOE Office of Sustainability and Zero Waste Schools. Workshop will include approaches to working with your greater school community and using local organizations and resources to minimize your school's environmental footprint. We will also focus on ways to raise student and staff environmental awareness to reduce the impact in our schools, homes, and communities.
